Ministry of Information & Broadcasting Jobs 2025

The Government of Pakistan Jobs 2025 , through the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting (MoIB), has announced multiple job vacancies under its Digital Communication Department (DCD) for the PSDP-funded NIMAR Project. These positions are available on a purely contract basis in Islamabad and are open to both male and female candidates.

📋 Available Job Positions & Details

1. Deputy Assistant Director (IT) – PPS-06

No. of Posts: 01
Qualification: 16 years of education (Master’s/Bachelor’s) in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or equivalent from HEC-recognized university.
Alternate Qualification: Bachelor’s in Computer Engineering/Computer Systems Engineering (PEC-recognized).
Age Limit: Maximum 28 years (age relaxation as per govt. rules).
Preferred Skills: IT & system administration, OS/software installation, database management.
Job Location: Islamabad

2. Data Center Technician (IT) – PPS-05

No. of Posts: 02 (Evening & Night shifts)
Qualification:
- DAE or Bachelor’s (14 years) in Computer Science, IT, Electronics, Telecom, Networking (HEC-recognized)
  OR
- Intermediate with Diploma in IT/Computer.
Experience: Preferably 3 years in data center operations, network support, or IT infrastructure maintenance.
Age Limit: 18–35 years.
Preferred Skills: Network monitoring, troubleshooting hardware/software, ensuring service reliability.

3. Data Center Technician (Power & HVAC) – PPS-05

No. of Posts: 01
Qualification: Bachelor’s (14 years) in Power/Electrical/Electronics/HVAC/Mechanical Engineering.
Experience: Preferably 3 years in UPS, HVAC operations, and power systems in data centers.
Age Limit: 18–35 years.
Preferred Skills: Hands-on experience in PSDP projects and cooling system maintenance.

4. Farash – PPS-01

No. of Posts: 02
Qualification: Primary pass (preferred).
Experience: 1 year in office cleaning/attendant duties.
Age Limit: 18–25 years.

5. Jamadar – PPS-01

No. of Posts: 02
Qualification: Primary pass (preferred).
Experience: 1 year in cleaning/maintenance work.
Age Limit: 18–25 years.

📌 General Terms & Conditions

Both male and female candidates can apply.
All positions are based in Islamabad.
The contract is initially for one year or until project completion.
Only shortlisted candidates will be called for test/interview.
No TA/DA will be provided.
Government employees must apply through the proper channel and resign if selected.
