Eligibility Criteria for 156 PMA Long Course

Education Requirements:

✔ Intermediate (FA/FSc or Equivalent): Minimum 60% marks required (55% marks for certain areas)
✔ Graduation (BA/BSc/BS/BBA/BPA – 4 years): Minimum 60% marks
✔ Graduation (2 years) + Serving Armed Forces Personnel: Minimum 60% marks

Age Limit (as of March 2025):

✔ Intermediate Pass Candidates: 17-22 years
✔ Graduates (2 or 4 years degree holders): 17-24 years
✔ Serving Army Soldiers: 17-25 years

Physical Requirements:

✔ Height: Minimum 5 feet 4 inches (162.5 cm)
✔ Weight: As per Body Mass Index (BMI)
✔ Physical Fitness Test:

1.6 km run in 8 minutes
10 push-ups in 2 minutes
10 sit-ups in 2 minutes
2 chin-ups in 40 seconds

Selection Process – How to Join Pakistan Army as Commissioned Officer 2025?

Online Registration: Visit www.joinpakarmy.gov.pk from 25 March 2025 to 04 May 2025.
Initial Test: Written intelligence test based on academic subjects.
Physical Test: Includes running, push-ups, sit-ups, and chin-ups.
Medical Examination: Initial medical test at Army Selection & Recruitment Centers (AS&RCs).
ISSB Test & Interview: Successful candidates will be called for a 5-day ISSB evaluation.
Final Selection: The Pakistan Army will finalize selections based on merit and medical fitness.
Training: Selected candidates will join Pakistan Military Academy (PMA), Kakul, Abbottabad, for 2 years of training.
