Join Pakistan Army as Junior Commissioned Officer & Soldier – Registration 1 September to 23 November 2025.The Pakistan Army has announced new recruitment opportunities for Junior Commissioned Officer (Naib Khateeb) and various Soldier trades in 2025. Pakistani citizens, including residents of Azad Jammu & Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan, can apply to serve the nation with pride.

Eligibility Criteria

Nationality

Male citizens of Pakistan, AJK, and Gilgit Baltistan.
Both married and unmarried candidates are eligible.

Education Requirements

Naib Khateeb: Dars-e-Nizami from a recognized Islamic madrassa, verified by the Higher Education Commission (HEC). Arabic fluency, Qiraat, and Hifz-e-Quran will be preferred.
Soldier General Duty / Driver / Military Police: Minimum Matric. For merged districts of Balochistan and KP, and children of martyrs, minimum Middle (except Military Police).
Soldier Clerk: Intermediate (C grade) for most candidates. For merged districts of KP, Balochistan, and GB – Intermediate (D grade). Computer diploma holders preferred.
Soldier Technical: Matric Science (C grade) – higher education preferred.
Sanitary Worker: Primary or illiterate – relevant work experience preferred.

Age Limit (as of 24 November 2025)

Naib Khateeb: 20–28 years.
- Serving soldiers: 22–35 years (1–16 years of service).
Soldier Trades: 17.5–23 years.
Sanitary Worker: 17.5–35 years.

Relaxations:

Graduate or higher qualification – 1 year relaxation.
Children of martyrs, injured in war, or holders of a valid driving license – 2 years relaxation.
Balochistan and KP merged districts – additional relaxation.

Physical Standards

Naib Khateeb / GD Soldier / Driver / Technical Soldier: Minimum height 5 ft 6 in (167.5 cm).
Military Police: Minimum height 5 ft 8 in (173 cm).
Clerk & Sanitary Worker: Minimum height 5 ft 3 in (160 cm).
(Merged districts of KP, Balochistan, and GB – 2 inches relaxation except for Clerk & Military Police)

Documents Required

Original and attested copies of educational certificates.
CNIC (Computerized National Identity Card).
Four passport-size photographs.
Domicile certificate.
State subject certificate for AJK candidates.
Experience or relevant proof for preference categories.

Selection Process

Registration – Online or at the nearest Army Selection & Recruitment Centre.
Written Test – Based on position requirements.
Physical Test – Height, chest measurement, and running.
Interview – Shortlisted candidates only.
Medical Examination – By an authorized medical board.
